Center for Cooperative Research in Biomaterials (CIC biomaGUNE), Spain

Description:

The Center for Cooperative Research in Biomaterials (CIC biomaGUNE) is a non-profit research organization created to promote scientific research and technological innovation related to biomaterials at the highest levels in the Basque Country. It is part of the CIC biomaGUNE Network, a network of several young and dynamic centers in the Basque Country for research in strategic fields, including biosciences, biomaterials sciences and nanosciences. The Biointerfaces department is the participating Partner.

Expertise:

The institute combines synthetic chemistry, material science, physical and biophysical characterization, with in vivo and in vitro imaging. CIC BiomaGUNE is endowed with a cyclotron, radiochemistry labs for hot chemistry and animal PET, SPECT and MRI cameras, and Technological platforms for imaging and materials characterization.
